Since 1940 there is a family business Halabi Real Estate. Initially there activities consisted from the purchase of real estate in Curaçao for investment purposes. Where there was residential or business premises if they were rebuilt or refurbished required for rental. Lands and lands were held in portfolio for investment purposes. Rarely something was sold. Early 70s the group began to carry on the construction and development activities. Promenade shopping center was built and gradually developed into a prestigious shopping center.
