Bonaire

Showing 1 - 3 of 3 bonaire

Bonaire is located in the southern part of the Caribbean Sea, off the coast of Venezuela. The island is part of the so-called Leeward ABC islands (Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao). The climate is tropical, with an average of 29 degrees Celsius during the day and 25 degrees Celsius at night in the best months, the winter months in the Netherlands. The island has about twenty thousand inhabitants, of whom almost fifteen thousand live in the capital Kralendijk. The island is therefore much less densely populated than Aruba and Curaçao. Bonaire, which has a size of 294 square kilometers, has a diverse population. In addition to many people from the other islands of Curaçao and Aruba, from the Netherlands and the neighboring countries Venezuela and Colombia, many people from the Dominican Republic live there, mostly labor migrants. The island offers the holidaymaker both comfort and nature experience: Bonaire has many unspoilt coastlines, but in the Belnem district, where Resort Bonaire is located, you will find the familiar luxury and comfort of home.
