Pensionado Settlement Curacao
Curaçao has a special (tax) regime (pensioners) for people who want to live in Curacao and want to enjoy their retirement on Curacao,or want to be the director / shareholder of a company. Under this scheme there is a tax rate of only 10 percent for foreign income. The conditions are:
You must be 50 years or older.
You must live in Curaçao (only registration is not sufficient).
You are not allowed to have lived on Curacao for the previous six years.
Within 18 months, you must have purchased a home in Curacao for a minimum of EUR 225,000 (depending on the course), which is also available for you.
You may not work in Curacao.
But you may be a director of a company (if you have 40 percent of the shares).
