Many houses in Curacao are in poor condition
Many houses in Curacao are in a bad condition.
The number of houses in poor condition in recent years have increased by 41% (CBS), partly due to the economic crisis. In 2001 there were 2310 houses in poor condition, this number increased in 2011 to 3266 houses.
The number of houses in good condition has risen in the same period with 28%
In 2011, 6% of the homes was in a poor condition, in 2001 this was 5.3% (CBS)
