Location

The Bentaweg dorm is located in the Santa Rosa neighborhood. This neighborhood is centrally located to Center Supermarket, a pharmacy, Café De Tropen, a Mc Donalds and Zuikertuintje where several entertainment venues and stores can be found, among others. Within walking distance you will find mini-markets, a bakery and even the KFC and Subway, among others.
Also, you are within no time at the popular beaches such as Mambo and Wet&Wild or in the city (Punda). There is a bus stop 100 meters from the house, so you are mobile even if you have not rented a car or scooter (yet). If you do have a vehicle at your disposal, you can park it inside the parking lot which is closed with a gate.

The rooms

There are a total of 6 different rooms and 1 studio in this student residence. Also, 4 more studios are under construction. The rooms have different surface areas(between 8 and 11.5 m2), layouts and accessories and are spread over the main house and an apartment adjacent to it. The studio is also a separate cottage on the property and equipped with all private conveniences.

In the main house you will find a fully equipped bar/kitchen, bathroom and cozy living room, which all tenants may use. There is a BBQ in the common garden.

Room 1:

The room is located in the residence with use of shared bathroom, cozy kitchen/bar and living room, chill corner, garden with bbq.

Rental rate: Naf 625.

Room 2:

The room is located in the residential house with use of shared bathroom, cozy kitchen/ba ren living room, chill corner, garden with bbq.

Rental rate: Naf 665.

Room 3:

The room is located in the residence with use of shared bathroom, cozy kitchen/bar and living room, chill corner, garden with bbq.

Rental rate: Naf 665.

Room 4 :

A spacious room with and private bathroom, located in the main house with use of shared living room, kitchen/bar, chill corner and garden with bbq.

Rental rate Naf 740.

Room 5:

A spacious room, located in the main house with use of shared bathroom, cozy kitchen/bar and living room, chill corner, garden with bbq. This room has its own entrance outside and an entrance through the main house.

Rental rate Naf 690.

Room 6 (studio) :

This is a very nice fully furnished studio (a self-contained wooden house) located next to the main house and suitable for rental to 1 or 2 people. The studio has a private bathroom, kitchenette, seating area with sofa and coffee table, LCD and DVD player and a terrace with a seating area. Of course, you can always use the cozy living room, kitchen and bar in the main house, chill corner and garden with bbq.
Rental rate Naf 875.

Studios, rooms 7, 8, 9 and 10:

Four new studios are currently under construction. These are nice spacious studios, attached to each other, which are built of wood. The studios have a private shower/toilet and kitchenette. Of course, you can always use the cozy living room, kitchen and bar in the main house, chill corner and garden with bbq. These studios will be ready for occupancy in mid-September 2016.

Rental rate Naf 850,-

Room 11 :

This room is in the apartment, located next to the main house in the garden. You will share the bathroom and kitchen together with room 12. Of course, you can always use the common cozy living room and kitchen/bar, chill corner and garden with bbq.

Rental rate Naf 635.

Room 12 :

This is a nice spacious room with a sitting area, LCD and DVD player. This room with 2 entrances, is also in the apartment and shares the bathroom and kitchen with room 11. Of course, you can always use the common cozy living room, kitchen/bar, chill corner and garden with bbq.

Rental rate Naf 790.

* The above rates are per calendar month and based on a rental period longer than 3 months. For a rental period of 1 month to 3 months, there is a surcharge of 15% per calendar month.
* Rental rates listed are based on occupancy of 1 person. When choosing to rent a room with 2 people, there is a surcharge of 30% on the bare rental rate excl. 7% tax.

* Age: 18-30 years.

* Rates exclude. electricity (approx. Naf. 75,- p.p. per month) and excl. 7% tax.

* Includes gas, water and WIFI.

* Includes internet TV in living room with over 600 international channels, including most Dutch channels.

Internet & Television

The student house on Benta Road has good WiFi reception in the house, apartment, studio, the garden and on the porch. In room 6, the studio and in the common living room there is a television with DVD player and the TV channel BVN (Dutch).
Service
There is cleaning in the common areas once a week. There is also a washing machine, ironing board and iron. Towels and linens are also provided for you.
You can keep track of the electricity yourself through the convenient Pagatinu System. Here you need to top up your own Kwh via top-up cards that can be purchased within walking distance of the house.
There is a pick-up service that drives to and from the airport. The cost is €25.00 per person (single ride) and this must be indicated two weeks in advance.
Lodges

In this dorm it is allowed to have lodgers over. This can be done in all rooms except Room 1. The cost is Naf 37.45 per night excluding electricity.
