In Jan Thiel, you\u2019ll find a diverse selection of hotels, resorts, restaurants, and, of course, a beautiful beach. This beach offers excellent amenities for the perfect vacation. Relax on a beach chair or actively explore Cura\u00e7ao\u2019s wonderful underwater world by snorkeling or scuba diving. Jan Thiel is one of the most beautiful areas on Cura\u00e7ao. It is located in the southeastern part of the island, about 22 km from the airport. Jan Thiel is a bay and, as such, has a very beautiful beach. The location is ideal for diving, snorkeling, and, of course, relaxing. Sailing, surfing, and kayaking are also excellent activities here.        <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Surroundings<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The area is also popular with joggers and cyclists, many of whom go for a jog or bike ride there, especially in the evening. The quiet road is perfect for this. Near the Zanzibar, on Jan Thiel Beach. Zanzibar is a restaurant and bar that rents out beach chairs. There\u2019s a swimming pool on the beach for children. Just past the Zanzibar, there\u2019s also a diving center where you can take diving courses.     <\/p>\n<p>Jan Thiel has a nature reserve that features old salt pans and is regularly visited by flamingos. The nature reserve is also ideal for running or mountain biking. You can also rent buggies and ATVs for an adventurous tour.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>History<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There are several homes for sale and various villas in a villa neighborhood. Nearby are Caracas Bay and several other bays, such as the Spaanse Water, as well as a marina.
